What’s up, Belfast? Can I tell you a little story, please? Let me tell you how a little band named Queen changed my life.
I was about 13 and I was living in a small town in California, in a very loving home where some parts of the modern world simply didn’t exist because my parents were trying to protect me from all things bad. See, when I was growing up there was no MTV on the TV, there was no Rock N Roll on the radio, oh no! But I had a friend…thank God for friends. And on one momentous I visited her house, she put on a record by Queen and when she played it for me, it opened my eyes, it unlocked my heart and it blew my mind. And from that moment on I knew exactly what I wanted to do, who I was and I began to dream very big dreams. I wouldn’t be standing here today without the power, the passion and the drama of Queen.
